Responsibilities
Provide high quality nutrition care to hospitalized patients, inculding adult and neonatal care. Primary care to be provided to adults in a variety of populations including general medicine, surgical, telemetrey and opportunity for critical care. Will also provide nutrition care within a level III neonatal intensive care unit (licensed for 64 beds). Great team work with other dietitians and other health care team members essential. Other responsibilities include nutrition support order writing and projects as assigned.

Registration and Licensure Requirements
Must be a Registered Dietitian with current registration from the credentialing agency of the American Dietetic Association and state licensure or Registered Dietitian Eligible with the ability to achieve their RD within 30 days. Must be a graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master's degree from an accredited Nutrition/Dietetics Program.
Experience
•Should have experience in clinical and community nutrition, client/patient counseling, and nutrition documentation.
•Prefer specialized training in diabetes and/or CDE a plus.
•Should have good customer service skills and good time management skills.
•Should be able to handle multiple tasks on any given day.
•Desire a candidate bilingual in Spanish.
Responsibilities
•Work one on one with clients and their caregivers to promote good nutrition and desirable diabetes management techniques.
•Be able to maintain accurate and detailed records of clients seen and to be seen.
•Should be able to manage and be a preceptor to students assisting with the project.
•Will need to collaborate with other professionals working on this project.
