Overview:
Obesity is reaching epidemic proportions with 68% of the United States population of adults categorized as overweight or obese. Excess weight is the contributor to many co–morbid diseases like diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, sleep apnea, back and joint problems, etc. This continuing education seminar is filled with practical information for weight management as well as new skills to assist healthcare professionals with behavior modification. This seminar is the first step in becoming certified as a MindMaps Education Systems professional or can be used to meet recertification continuing education requirements.
